Liberty launches an indoor Miami Beach-inspired cinema in June for Londoners to enjoy film-watching with a tropical setting. It is first come, first served since only twenty seats are available for each screening.
The Soho department store has teamed up with Backyard Cinema, a south London agency specialised in events, to screen a line-up of ten films including Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, and La La Land.

Pretty Woman (1990) will be screened on June 16th at 8 pm.

La La Land (2016) will be screened on June 13th at 8 pm.

Dirty Dancing (1987) will be screened on June 10th at 8:30 pm.
The setting, on the fourth floor of the department store, is an indoor beach with real sand, sea shells, and the sound of the ocean. Cinema-goers will sit in big bean bag loungers under palm trees.
“Liberty is always looking for new exciting things to present, so watching a film on a beach for summer has immediately attracted them”, says a Backyard Cinema spokesperson.
“We really want people to get into the beachy atmosphere. That's why we will provide flip-flops and piña coladas before the film starts. It is an experience like no other'', she adds.
Tickets include a box of popcorn as well as a summer cocktail – a piña colada, tequila sunrise, or mojito – to help Londoners experience a Miami Beach lifestyle for less than £20.
Liberty presents Miami-Beach cinema from the 7th to the 14th of June on Disappearing Store on Level 4. Tickets from £20 per adult and £10 per child. To book tickets, please contact Liberty's customer service +44 (0)20 7734 1234 or email customerservices@libertylondon.com.
